Toowoomba Netball Association (TNA)
Toowoomba Netball Association operates a Net Set Go Program for 5-year-olds and over and from ages 10 and above we host a competitive competition that runs from April to September.
On the 9th of March we’re hosting a come and try day which is targeted at new players and coaches. This would be a great opportunity for any new players or first/second year players as well as any of your staff who might find them selves training netball in your school.
We’d also like to ask you to reach out to us if there are any ways we can support you in encouraging netball through your school, we’d love to help wherever we can and drive boys’ and girls’ participation in Netball across our region.

SW Queensland Thunder Football Club
South West Queensland Thunder Football Club is the representative Football club of the Darling Downs region. Our club offers football development opportunities for talented players from Toowoomba and surrounding communities.
We compete in FQ Academy competitions with most teams playing against teams from throughout South West Queensland.
In 2024, we are entering Advanced Community teams in the local Darling Downs Football competitions for the first time, with players training 2 nights per week and playing up a year level in an older age competition to support player development. These teams will train one night per week with our FQ Academy teams under the direction of FQ Academy coaches.
The attached information is provided about our trials. Use the QR Code to access the relevant information and register for trials. Trials commence after the September school holidays for different age groups.
We are also seeking coaches for our Advanced Community teams. Some great mentoring opportunities are available for coaches through our Technical Director Ivor Prasad and Junior Football Development Officer MIrko Crociati.
