We are adding some delicious hot meal options and we have brought back a few of the favourites. Sushi is now finished up and will return in Term 4.

Tuckshop News Term 1 2024
Welcome back to the old and Hello to the new families of Mater Dei. I hope you all had an incredible Summer filled with fun and adventures.
Tuckshop is restarting on Thursday 1st February and our last day for Term 1 will be Tuesday 26th March.
I realize that the cost of living has increased but every endeavour has been made to keep the prices as low as possible on our Menu.
Sushi proved such a big hit last Term so it is back in Term 1. You will need to Pre-Order by 1.30pm each Tuesday for Thursday that week. No late orders as this Service is made to order.
If your child has any dietary needs please contact me for a chat. I have extended our Gluten Free options on the school's menu. Whilst the most care is given to preparing and cooking these food lines in a separate area away from the main work bench. We do supply ALOT of Wheat products. We take care to wrap Gluten free options in Alfoil. This type of packaging is only used for these Special Orders. So your child gets to know that their food always comes to them wrapped the same way.
To our new families you can order Tuckshop through the On-line Ordering system called Flexischool.
To pre-existing accounts - Parents please update your child's class on the app or otherwise it will go to last years's class box. Tuckshop can not make these changes for you and can cause stress to your child when they can't find their orders.
How to set up your Flexischool Account:
1. Download our app
The Flexischools app is the easiest way to place online lunch orders.
2. Register
Open the Flexischools App and click 'Like to register?' or click here to register on our website. https://www.flexischools.com.au
Submit your email address to create an account.
Go to your inbox and open the registration email from Flexischools. Click on the link provided and follow the registration process, creating a password and completing your personal details.
3. Log in to your Flexischools account and enter your child’s details
Once your account is set up, log into the Flexischools App or log in to our website.
If you are using the app, select the ‘Profile’ icon on the navigation bar. Under ‘Students’, click ‘Add new’. Enter your child’s name, school, year level, and class. Click ‘submit’.
To order on our app
1. Place your order
In the Flexischools App, click ‘Order food’ at the top of the homepage.
Select which student you would like to place an order for.
2. Make your selection
Choose which service you would like to order for.
Choose which date to order.
Select the items you wish to order.
3. Make payment
When you have finished adding items, click ‘Confirm order’.
Select your payment option and complete payment to place your order.
4. Confirmation email will be sent to you. Look out for this update as this tells you that your order has been placed, correctly. If you are Ordering for both breaks you will receive two Confirmation emails.
Volunteer Roster
Volunteers are always appreciated in staffing the Tuckshop that operates Tuesday and Thursday. I realize that we all are time poor but a little help does go along way with the smooth running of your Tuckshop. It is a great way to give back to the school community and your children love to see you. Skills involved are filling orders, some food prepartion and the ability to have a laugh.
A fun fact that last year we cooked and packaged 17,000 chicken nuggets alone.

Tuckshop News
Thursday 16th November will be our last day for Sushi, Tuckshops regular menu will finish up on Tuesday 21st November.
Our last Tuckshop day will be Thursday 23rd November, and we will be hosting a Fun Day to help celebrate the end of the school year. We will have a reduced menu for Morning Tea and Lunch, our special menu will include Iced Donuts, Pizza and Popper Deal. Please check Flexischools for details (swipe between the pizza and donut images to order Little Lunch and Big Lunch), pre-ordering is required by Tuesday 21st November at 4pm.

Due to Students having serious allergies to Seafood, from today Tuna and Salmon Sushi Rolls are no longer available to Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Flexischools online ordering will reflect this change.

Tuckshop Term 3 Update
IOU PAYMENTS
Flexischools has introduced an 'IOU' service for payment to their online ordering. This is only for Late or Missed orders that didn't go through the Flexischools Portal .
Please be aware that you need to contact Tuckshop first so they can maually add your order to their service and work out your payment.
LAST DAY OF TUCKSHOP FOR TERM 3
Tuesday 12th September will be our last day of Tuckshop for this term.
Please be aware that some food lines will have number restrictions on them as I run down the stock.

Tuckshop 2023
Welcome back to a new year! The tuckshop at Mater Dei is operated by a convenor and volunteers. We would love your help! When you come in to help, you will receive free coffee, lunch for your children and yourself. Our tuckshop operates every Tuesday and Thursday for morning tea and lunch and will begin in week 2. Our tuckshop assistant Melinda Johnson is now helping out in the front office for the first 4 weeks so we really need your help! For these first 4 weeks we won't be doing salads and salad sandwiches. Also, Zooper Doopers will only be available for Years 3-6 in these first few weeks.

Welcome to Tuckshop 2022
Welcome back!
We run tuckshop on a Tuesday and Thursday each term here at Mater Dei. You can order your tuckshop through Flexischools. Please find the information for ordering attached as well as the current tuckshop menu. Current parents please change your child's year group before ordering so the food doesn't go to the wrong class.
Unfortunately, due to covid, we need to streamline the menu for the first few weeks of this term. We are unable to have volunteers for at least the first 4 weeks, and due to supply some items are unavailable. With all this in mind, the menu will be changing and we will need to put limits on certain items. Please bear with us as we work through all the changes.
